TV news has huge impact on society. There are many different opinions. Some think it is stupid to show everything, because people get scared. In my own opinion,I agree they should not cut out anything in news, because people (except children)are mature enough to take in the reality of what happens in the world every day.

First of all, the public has a right to know what is happening. TV news not only makes people aware of the views and policies of government, but also of their rights. It keeps the government informed of people's wishes, desires and aspiration.

Secondly, TV news should be safe for people. The news carry information for everyone. It widens knowledge, keeps people current of all advances made in the fields of science, education, medicine and technology, such as how to deal with emergency events - kidnapping, hostage incidents, shooting, etc, people can avoid to be injured.

Furthermore, for precautions. when people know the events will happen, they can protect themselves easier. For example some of diseases such as HIV and some of natural disasters such as earthquakes, fire accidents etc.

However, the TV news are not always suitable for all ages and sometimes, there are some movies containing sexual material and violence which can affect children and teenagers. It will be extremely dangerous if parents neglect their children as they will immediately take influence of what they see. Thus, the TV news should also have strict code of ethics. It should conscientiously adhere, not try to shock people.

In conclusion, TV news are the indispensable device in our daily life and without them it is difficult to live. I think they should not cut anything,
